I’m a PhD student in John Richardson’s Stream and Riparian Research (STARR) Lab at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
My goal is to integrate freshwater ecology, groundwater hydrology, and plant physiology to understand how river regulation impacts in-stream and riparian ecosystems.
In the past I’ve worked in the Rieseberg lab for Evolutionary Genomics, for the Canadian Wildlife Service in Delta, as a high school science tutor, and as an artist / illustrator. I play guitar, keyboard, and saxophone in our lab’s band, The InSTaRRs.
